Camera drones can be used for any number of purposes such as security, surveillance, law enforcement, racing, pro or novice photography, flying for fun, livestock & wildlife monitoring, even used to search for Bigfoot.
Thermal image cameras are available for some drones.
These high quality GPS assisted smart drones are easier and safer to fly than cheaper quad copters that lack the autonomous flight features.
Some of these drones have a flight range of up to 3 miles or more from the controlling pilot.
Drones purchased on ebay or Amazon often don't carry the full warranty.
